Terms of Service for KitchenSync Last updated: January 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading, installing, or using the KitchenSync mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Use of the App KitchenSync is designed to help you manage your kitchen inventory and meal planning. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

3. User Accounts & Household Sharing To access synchronization features, you may create or join a "Household ID." You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of this ID. Any individual with access to your Household ID will have full access to view, edit, and delete your inventory and shopping list data. KitchenSync is not liable for data loss or privacy breaches resulting from your voluntary sharing of your Household ID.

4. Intellectual Property The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by KitchenSync and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Affiliate Disclosure KitchenSync may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Walmart, Amazon, or other grocery retailers) that are not owned or controlled by us. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links at no extra cost to you.

6. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features The App utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for features such as the "Real Scanner" and "Iron Chef" judge. Responses generated by AI are probabilistic and may be inaccurate or misleading. You acknowledge that any dietary information, expiration dates, or recipe suggestions provided by the AI are for entertainment and informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional health or safety advice. Always verify food safety and ingredients personally.

7. Limitation of Liability In no event shall KitchenSync, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.

8. Disclaimer The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The App is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

9. Changes We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
